I shouldn’t be asking this because I shouldn’t be considering spending the money on something like this, but its of interest to me. If I were to replace my 27 inch SDTV in the bedroom(with media MVP sage client connection) with an LCD panel capable of 720p or 1080p what’s the sweet spot in size and price? More over, I’d like to have it capable of tuning independent of needing a connection to Sage. Is it better in this case to buy a plain LCD monitor and then add on a tuner(maybe just use a cable box?) or is it smart to spend the extra money on a LCD TV which includes a tuner?
I’m not sure what size I’m looking for, but I’d say 24inches would be nice. I should also add that I have an extra PC that’s just being used as a desktop but very capable of playing back recorded HD material.
