Hmm… That’s interesting… Another reason I like Mythtv. 😉 This is all there by default… Real-time commercial skip… It wasn’t a feature I was looking for initially, but it’s been there since I started using it a year and a half ago. Except for watching live tv, or the occaisional poorly flagged show, I can’t even tell you the last time I watched commercials. I find it great for football games. I start watching about an hour after it started and catch up to “live” at about the end of the game. 15-20 min for an hour show and about 10 min for a half hour. Works slick.
So if this is a feature you get with the commercial version of ShowAnalyzer, I say go for it 100%. It’s wonderful. I really need to do a comparison between Mythtv and other apps. Sometimes I don’t even realize what a gem I have here. ;D
