Calibrating your MC picture 1,2,3…

I was going through all my save IE Favorites on the subject of media center picture quality.  I noted I have always approached this issue in fragments.  I thought someone must have written something on how to do this correctly from calibrating your TV using TV adjustments first to calibrating your Media Center image last.

I have seen a lot of good information on the subject, but has anyone seen instructions from start to finish?
