So I’m going to make my office machine a client for SageTV, and have a question on the video card. It’s a socket 939 machine with AGP, and currently has a ATI AIW X800XT video card. I’ve got a GeForce 6600GT in the parts pile. Which would be better at watching tv and HD-tv? Or should consider something else? I’ve never really been happy with the ATI, too much stuff that I don’t use I guess, and I seem to like the Nvidia drivers better…
Of course, I’m toying with just throwing a micro AM2 motherboard in there with a x2 core and the 7600GT from my htpc and put a 9600GT in it… 🙂
