I’ve got an xbox that I have connected to my HDTV via component cables– it works great except when my gf wants to watch TV. I have a 19inch LCD monitor next to the HDTV that it hooked up to the HTPC and I toggle it back and forth between the TV. This LCD has two inputs(DVI and VGA– I’m currently going as VGA from HTPC, leaving the DVI open). I’d like to have some sort of splitter or selector switch to be able to play xbox on the LCD when my gf wants the TV.
Is there something that is relatively cheap and will do this? I’ve also got the original composite connector that I could adapt to fit the DVI and I could just swap them out at the xbox. Alternatively, I forget this crazy idea and take it to my old 27inch tv in the bedroom when I want to play xbox and can’t get on the HDTV.
