Hi Everyone,
Hope people are still checking this forum. I am trying to conenct my TivoHD, XBOX 360 and HTPC to my Samsung Plasma 50″ 720p TV. Right now, I am using a Zektor HDS4.1 to switch between the component and audio optical (TOSLink) inputs, so I can use macros on my Universal MX-850 remote. This eliminates cycling through the inputs. But forces me to use component cable.
Should I go HDMI for the XBOX and Tivo, and VGA for my HTPC? If I do that, I will have to cycle through the inputs, but will the picture quality improve?
Or is there another solution?
