Has anyone tried connecting the IR out from a blaster directly to the IR in of a receiver? My new cable box has an IR Receiver In which is meant to be used with an an external IR receiver in the case that the cable box is behind a solid door or some such, and my USB-Uirt has and IR Out for attaching an add-on blaster. What do you guys think about just wiring the two together?
For some reason it seems to be too easy…and that I would have heard someone else discuss the idea at some point in time.
