So the other day I loaded DD-wrt on a linksys54Gs2 router because I was having some connection dropping issues. I have it pretty much configured except the fact that I cannot remote to one of my PC’s through WHS. It shows up in the PC list but it no longer says its a W7 PC; it just says unknow. I have all my ports forwarded correctly; and UPnP turned on and it shows all the ports that WHS has set up. I was wondering if I have to forward some ports from my PC to my WHS box or if I have to forward some ports to my W7 from outside? I have all the firewalls turned off just in case thats creating an issue but it does not appear to be when turned on. Any insight would be great 🙂 I’m no networking guru so any help would be appreciated.
