Would anyone be interested in discussing MKV in more detail, specifically it’s advantages/disadvantages compared to other containers/envelopes? Some discussion points could be compression, quality, and file size.
After doing some research, it appears that you need to install the [url=http://www.cccp-project.net/]CCCP[/url] (Combined Community CODEC Pack). In the past this has always been a ‘no-no’ with HTPCs. This pack installs the following, some of which I don’t want on my HTPC:
