I’ve been toiling with this problem for a week now, and I just don’t know how else to troubleshoot this problem. Any one have any thoughts?
I recently purchased a VistaView Saber DA-1N1-I. I hooked up the local cable company’s feed to the analog port, and an over the air antenna to the digital port.
I had been using MediaPortal 1.0.0.0 RC, but the TV server would crash everytime I did an analog scan. RC2 was just released, so I decided to try that. Same problem. I tried going back to 0.2.3.0. Still no luck. Decided to try a whole new application, so I tried BeyondTV. Half of the stations came in color, half in black and white, and no audio on any station. Small improvement I guess.
I have tried both the 6.0.99 and the 6.210012 VistaView drivers with no change in results.
I’m running XP Home SP2. Is there some patch I need to install to get this to work? Or should I just come to the conclusion I got a bad card and return it for a new one?
