Encoding performance of various CPU’s compared

Here’s a really interesting topic on the doom9 forums comparing various CPU’s encoding the same MPEG-2 file into h.264.  It really helped tip the scales when I was deciding whether to go dual or quad core in my new media server (I went quad  ;D).
