So I’ve been having this annoying problem with my MS remote. I’m using Media Portal (works just fine in it) and Zoomplayer but the MS remote needs to have a few keys mapped to work right with it; I’ve been using HIP but it does that damn double click thing were it sends the command twice. Very annoying.

So I thought I’d try something a little different; I had bought a 360 receiver on a whim (much like a lot of things I buy) as well as a wireless 360 controller a few weeks back so I wanted to use them. Hooked everything up and found a nice (and ugly) little app to map keys on the controller to keyboard and mouse commands. 🙂

Navigation is very easy (a little easier then using the remote) and it’s kind of neat to use a controller; it’s mouse emulation handling is much easier and feels more “nature” with the controller then it was with any mouse emulation remote I’ve used. It’s actually usable.

I’m really liking it, now I just have to tweak it a little more to get it working exactly the way I want it too. 🙂
