Even thought the first generation Gyration mouse may not have been the end all to end all it still had its merits.  Mine is still kickin’ after five years and it does not fail to wow the non-techies who wonder how I make stuff happen on the TV without using a traditional mouse or keyboard.  Half the time they don’t even notice that I have that thing in my hand since they’re watching stuff move around on the tube.  Once I got used to the Gyration’s nuances I just sort of adapted to its parameters of performance and operate accordingly.

I’ll bet that the latest version is pretty slick compared to my first-gen unit.  I’m glad that Gyration is still around.
