I’ve been playing with my new Harmony 550 and have been trying to figure out how to deal with standby (S3) in MCE. It appears that Harmony’s are unaware of MCE’s power status and may inadvertently send the HTPC into standby instead of waking it up, and vice versa, causing an out-of-sync issue with the remote.
The only solution I’ve been able to find (other than using Girder) is to program the Harmony to never put the HTPC into standby, which isn’t a great solution. One could then program a separate button for the power toggle, or page through the device commands for the power toggle.
