Finally able to get some pics up. A pretty humble set up compared to some of the others on this board, but it “wows” the family. ;D

These are some Prepac DVD shelves I just got a month ago from standsandmounts.com. Not bad at all. I like to have my collections exposed instead of in a cabinet… just a personal preference. Not to mention that they come in 3, 2, and 1 column pieces which will allow me to add on no matter how much wall space I have. I have 2 of the 3 column units on the one wall and 2 of the 1 column units on the front wall. I went with the color “Concert Hall” by Glidden for the walls and ceiling. It’s a pretty bright room and the paint does an excellent job at sucking up the ambient light.

Yes I am an Eagles fan. Please don’t hold that against me.  😉

Just another shot of the TV with MediaPortal on screen. The case is a ThermalTake Mozart and somehow I lost the black CD-ROM face plate.  🙁 The case is OK. It’s will probably be replaced eventually.

Here are my right-rear and rear-cc Nanosats. These replaced a pretty decent Paradigm 5.1 mishmash. I think these are much better for movies than the Paradigms, but the Paradigms rule when it comes to music. The curtains are covering my utility closet (furnace & water heater).

Some things I would still like to do…

    1. Replace my 34″ CRT with a larger (maybe 42″) LCD.
    2. Replace the Mozart.
    3. Silence the vacuum cleaner that is my video card.
