My previously perfectly working HTPC setup started having HDMI handshake issues and I am ready to pull my hair out – I will look like Homer soon!
So for the last couple of months whenever I turn on my LCD (Samsung) and Receiver (Onkyo 606), all I get initially is “Weak or no signal” displayed on the LCD. After about 20minutes the MCE front end will appear on it’s own sweet time. I have not changed anything in my setup (including graphics drivers). The only thing that could have changed is an auto update by Microsoft to Vista.
I have tried turning off screensaver & never turn off display but no help.
If I reboot the PC, the image will appear as soon as I boot up. But otherwise nothing I do will make the TV display anything other than “weak or no signal” until it feels good & ready (20-30mins)
Please help before I look the opposite of this -> O0
