ok, so i’ve been messing with this & reading online all day for a fix for this. Here’s my setup:
Central Router (don’t have access to any of the settings, but DOES have DHCP. Main IP is 192.168.0.1)
MY Router
Computers
Modem > Central Router > MY Router > 3 computers
So what i’m trying to do is the above, but for some reason i can’t get it working. I can get the computers seeing each other on the LAN, but I can’t share internet, nor can i ping the Central Router from one of the computers.
I’ve tried everything i can find on the net, and can’t figure this out. any ideas?
Here’s a screenshot of one of my attempts:

tried this as well….
Internet IP Address: 192.168.1.10
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Static DNS: 192.168.1.1
and then…
For Local IP Address: 192.168.2.1 (???? not sure here)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
And then DHCP Server: Enabled
but alas, still no joy. I have no problem with the systems seeing each other on the LAN, but just no internet. I’ve tried hooking it up through a LAN port, and the WAN port of the MY Router.
I have a Linksys WRT54g, the Central Router I cannot access, but it’s some newer Linksys router. But i can verify i can access internet from the cable i have from it.
