I bought one to facilitate my relocation of HT stuff into a closet. It works like a champ.
I emailed a question to their support and one of them called me back on the phone, I was very impressed, he was very knowledgable and wasn’t looking to sell me on more stuff.
Turns out you can use the ‘eye’ behind a wall-plate with no opening or anything.
This works wonders for both my tivo and my htpc (with generic mce ir remote).
