I see a few avermedia HD tuner cards for sale and was wondering how the guide would handle 2 OTA signals via the HDHR, 2 analog via the Haup 500 and 1 or 2 QAM via the AVERs. Do the avers just get line up with a 1081 channel that they would get via comcast or does the guide map them down. IE CBS ATSC is 8.1 for me, Analog it is 8. Where would you guess the Aver would fall? And would it set itself up automatically during setup?
Can you set preferences also on HD tuners? Currently my ATSC tuner drops a bit on HIGH VHF CBS so can I set the AVER tuner to be the first to go to when recording HD?
I might just have to throw one line of the HDHR onto the cable feed and see what happens.
