If they are capable of this:
The new video converter has custom settings and profiles to automatically convert libraries and unprotected DVDs.
Then why don’t they do the same for BluRay? CPU, HDD, network bottleneck? No code? Afraid they might be pushing the legal line a bit like Kaleidescope and RealNetworks?
And wy=hy do they even need to convert the DVDs if you can just set the Movies library to point to the share and play the file directly with Windows 7. Perhaps they left something out like this feature was for place shifting or putting onto a mobile device. Those guys at DailyTech seem to skip a lot of details.
