They are letting him keep the TV so he can test the black level rise over time. I’ve been affected by it on my 65″V series plasma but it wasn’t THAT terrible. Folks on AVS make it sound like the sets are worthless. It isn’t that bad but the black level rise certainly isn’t favorable. Lets hope it is getting better in 2010.
