Hey all, first post 😉 Having a small issue with my HTPC.
Currently have the following installed:
Haali splitter
ffdshow (most current version)
Spifder
I’m using a Asus Xonar D2X in Vista Home Premium with the latest drivers
I have set the Vista to use the Digital socket as default, and enabled Dolby Digital, DTS, and Windows thing in the Xonar Windows properties.
I have set spifder to pass through all signals as is
Video and sound working fine, everything plays correctly, even the correct channels + encodes are correctly being sent to my sony decoder.
However the sound often stutters occasionally on movies and audio in general, is there any way to stop this?
I’m thinking its a software issue as CPU and I/O arn’t raising greatly, if at all.
