The 8500GT also supports the full range of picture enhancements including HD IVTC according to the nvidia website and can be found passive more easily.
Edit: Apparently I have been corrected and the 8500GT does not support the full range of enhancements available despite the fact that they are listed on the Nvidia website. Good to know, but still a decent card if you are looking for lower power / cheap
