🙂 Just completed a minor update to my HTPC – new 4850e cpu (had to flash the BIOS to do that – but didn’t find out until after I had it installed!), new locking sata cables (hope that will cure a minor error that shows up once and a while), and a new, quiter cpu fan.
It’s soo weird seeing cpu temps in the 40-50’s! Is it strange for the cores to be 3-6 deg F different?
Quick non-htpc question: if I need a component video cable, and don’t have one – can I use a a/v cable ( left and right audio and component video – red/black/yellow RCA)?
