After months of trying to get ready to build an htpc, I am only getting myself more confused. In an attempt to simplify the whole thing, I am considering purchasing an HP 485, a sagetv extender and hvr 1950 tuner for the nas. (think i will need 2 of these?)
We are looking to automatically record tv, stream music, video and pictures from the nas, and use the nas for torrent and newsgroup downloading. (along with it’s backup and storage of course)
Isn’t this a simpler way to get started and with better waf?
I think all these will still be useful if I do go back to considering a build. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
