I finally found a place that has the ECS 780G motherboard that I want, so I’m going to order it.  However, I have a question.  It only has 1 IDE port (as most mobos do now) and I have 2 IDE optical drives and 1 IDE hard drive.  I’ve always heard not to put the hard drive and burner on the same cable so I was going to get an IDE controller card.  I want to run the 2 optical drives through the IDE card and plug the hard drive to the motherboard.  Can I do this?  Reading the reviews no one seemed to be using it for optical drives, but only hard drives.  This is the one I was looking at.  http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816132012
Will it work?
