I have 2 250 gig drives in RAID 0. I think it is happening when I have atleast 3 shows recording or two recorded and I might be watching a 3rd or one of the two delayed.
I don’t know it is the show not being recorded properly via signal or the HDD is unable to keep pace. I am tempted to get an SSD for my gaming rig and taking the two drives out of that machine and changing the array in the HTPC to a 3 drive raid 0. Assuming that I might be gettign a Cablecard Tuner this fall I might potentially be recording a max of 8 HD streams. Realisticaly probably never more than 4.
I don’t remember having any trouble in my recordings during the Olympics when I had my 750Gb green drive in there. I wonder if that was faster than 2 7200RPM drives in Raid 0.
