I am fed up with my Biostar m2 7050 motherboard.
In order to get the hdmi audio to work I need to use very old 7050 video drivers. Its very aggravating. The other day I allowed windows to automatically updated the video and hdmi drivers from Nvidia and I lost my sound again. I have yet to get it back.
Because of this I am thinking about giving up on the integrated video/sound and instead going with a card such as the 4550 when it comes out. Will this ease my pain? How do these new ATI cards work? Do they have integrated sound cards in them or will I need to patch over the audio from my motherboard to the video card.
The cards are not expensive but I would love to avoid any further aggravation.
