Mwave is selling the IOGEAR GKM561R Wireless Multimedia Keyboard for HTPC w/ Laser Trackball and Scroll Wheel for $31 shipped after $12 rebate.

The keyboard seems to have a lot of positive consumer reviews and is designed for the living room.

Mikinho’s actually working on a review of this as we speak, and so far he’s told me nothing but positive things about it! and at this price, sheesh, good deal

This is the keyboard I use in my living room.  My HTPC is in the room next door (long HDMI cable) and the RF dongle is so good that it gets picked up 20′ away through a wall.  Only thing I wish it had was a back light.  All the reviews claimed great range and it really does have it.

For this price I may pick up a second.  If that gives you an idea of the review (and I very much disliked the Logitech diNovo Mini)

The anti-spam filter keeps tagging me.  Grrrr…  okay, short things short.  Own one.  Awesome RF range.  Goes through a wall and about 20’+ without issue.

I’m temped too.  Do you know if the two would overlap signals or if the dongles use a signature(etc) to keep that from happening?

I believe they have their own pairing that it comes pre-configured with as the keyboard has instructions to pair it with the dongle in case it is “lost”

I just got sucked into buying a bunch of stuff off Slickdeals.  Must repeat manta, “do not need, do not need…”.  This is going to be tempting me all day.

Okay. You two pushed me over the edge. I’m going to get one of these.

I just received the keyboard. My first impression of it is positive. I love the size. It’s not too big, but it’s big enough to be useful. It’s small enough to stash in a lot of places and it can look at home in a living room if it is left sitting in the open.

I can’t wait to try it out.
