    ;D

So my son turns one on Tuesday. I’m already one-up on the other parents with the HTPC . . .whenever I hear someone complaining about their kids destroying DVDs I just smile . . . but of course . . . expose a kid to something long enough, and he’ll start to figure it out.

The first thing he figured out was the volume knob. Lets just say he loooooves to crank it. LOL.

And then, of course, there’s the comment I get from my mother-in-law, who watches him a couple of times a week . . . “He sure starts whining whenever there’s a commercial.” Ouch. Didn’t even think that would be an issue. But sure enough, commercial . . . aaaaaah.

And of course, the piece de resistance . . . he figured out that if you hit the reset button on the HTPC the TV shows a pretty blue screen! Of course one day he did it in the middle of Oprah . . . slight WAF hit. Hehe . . . so I now have an unplugged reset switch. Strangely enough he doesn’t mess with the DVD drive . . .
