I’ll definitely give them credit for the design of the USB drive itself. But, who is the target market for such a product? Frequent fliers? College kids? Impulse buyers in line at the grocery checkout? This seems like those disposable DVDs Circuit City was selling no so long ago. I assume these drives can at least be used for storage, too, right? They still seem very anti “green”. If they actually make it to market, I’d be surprised if they last a year before being killed off.
