I have to believe that nettops are going to be the extender of choice going into the future.
I certainly am going to want one for the bedroom once the CETON/Hauppauge internal cablecard tuners are released and I build a new htpc.
I wanted to start this thread to be a clearinghouse for news and info about nettops so I could more easily keep up with them.
Lets start with a question. Does anyone know if Acer or another company is planning on selling a nettop that has a built-in IR receiver? for use as an extender (ie. replacing a cable/satellite box) that seems like a no brainer.
