His S/PDIF comments don’t make sense. He said even with the optical/coaxial ports only 2-channel DD/DTS is supported? That’s not possible, with S/PDIF the audio on the disc is passed through untouched for a surround sound processor to handle. Me thinks he misconfigured the player’s audio options. EDIT: In fact page 11 of the user manual says it does proper multichannel audio output via S/PDIF.
Also he complains about the remote being unintuitive, yet he included no pictures of the remote, nor the player’s GUI.
