I have a Dell Inspiron 530s in my son’s room so that he can watch movies from the server. This PC is a slim-line computer. It is connected to a 25″ Hannspree monitor. I want to upgrade from his onboard Intel graphics to something like a 4350. It has to be low-profile. One of the cards I was looking at was a Gigabyte on newegg; this card has a fan on it. A lot of the other 4350’s do not have a fan. My theory was that maybe the card needed to have a fan since it’s going to be in such a small case. But the only other card in it is a wireless pci card and that is several slots away from the x16 slot. What do you think? Would it be OK to put a fanless video card in, or would you go with one with a fan?
