Managed copy requirements delayed, December 4th around the corner

While I agree that it would be nice to have a legal way to get content off the plastic, I don’t understand why managed copy will be useful to anyone but custom installers (and even then, they seem to be skirting the issue already by providing everything but the AnyDVD HD license).

Do normal people have the infrastructure to support managed copy or should we expect CE companies to start selling 2TB external hard drives that plug into the back of BD players?
