Anyone else run into this. or have any ideas?
I just ran into this problem last week.
I did a fresh install from Legit CD’s on my MCE PC.
It needed a fresh install to speed things up.
and now after updates from Windows update
The PC is now reported as XP Pro ….. 🙁
Rollup update 2 will not install.
it identifies the install as XP Pro,
MCE shell runs just fine, Live TV etc…
But Windows cant see Vbox tuner in MCE
It was all working before >:(
I have a legit original Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 set of two disks.
Just a tip, for others
If durring install, installer asks for service pack two CD,
just put in CD 1
