Has anyone heard or seen a time line for migrating the HD DVD titles over to the BR format? Since I’m scoping out parts for my new HTPC project I was wondering if I should spend the extra coin on the hybrid LG ROM or save a little and just stick with a BR ROM and wait for the migration?
There are titles out there like Bullitt I’d love to watch in HD but it is currently available only in HD DVD, AFAIK. Which brings me to part deux of my thinking. If I drop the extra coin on the LG hybrid can I make up the extra cost by snapping up clearance sale priced HD DVDs and saving money that way?
Any thoughts on the matter?
