I have recently added an HDTV tuner to my existing HTPC setup.  I have mixed feelings about the results.  Playback starts OK but eventually starts pixelating and audio is garbled.

Hence the subject of this post:  What is the minimum hardware configuration for recording and viewing HD TV content on a PC?

    What is the minimum CPU?

What is the minimum amount of RAM?

What is the minimum for a Video Card?
and how much ram should the video card have?

Is AGP and PCI an acceptable BUS minimum
    -OR-
    IS PCI-express (x16 and x1 slots) BUS needed ?

    Any other areas for bottlenecks?

It’s possible there is some sort of interference with the OTA signal, however from other posts I’ve read there is also a chance some of PC hardware is not up to snuff for HD recording and playback.
