I have an AMD 4550 wth HDMI connected via HDMI. But when I set the res to 1080 I had about an inch between the pc display and the edge. I used the Catalyst scaler to fit the screen but I lose a hair or two worth of pixels on the right and text looks a little fuzzy.
Why does the Catalyst res not match the res of the TV?
What can I do to fix it? I am going to see if I have a dvi cable around. I was hopng to just run one but if I have to run the audio cable to get clear text I will.
Plus in the Samsung manual it seems that there are more options for settign position, magic brite and a few other things if I use the pc source connection.
