You’re going to try it? Please let us know how that goes. I have been running MCE full time for more than a year now and I am very pleased with it (other than some problems with image skipping when my Nvidia card resizes above 800×600… I’ll stop there before i start ranting 😉 ). Last week I decided to put together a computer with some spare parts I had and give MythTV a try. After doing a few searches looking for guides, i was surprised at how easy it was to install Myth and get the basics working ( I used Ubuntu 6.1. I know, it’s just the “flavor of the month”, but i’m new to linux and it has the reputation of the the most user friendly – from my readings anyway). I still have a lot of tweaking to do and a couple issues to work out, but it has been a fun project.
