So I’m only back home for the weekend, and need to buy a new tv. I’m looking for something in the 42-47″ range (currently have a 32″ westinghouse that’s 4-5 years old that’s dead). It will receive HDMI from my receiver (from HTPC – SageTV) and controled with a Harmony remote. Sound goes out through speakers so that doesn’t matter, and the only gaming is a Wii.
I know I want 1080p and 120hz and hdmi input. Beyond that I don’t know.
The local stores are Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Sears and Ultimate Electronics.
Any thoughts? Besides this is probably the worst way to buy a tv….
