Thanks for the help in an earlier thread. I have gone ahead with my purchase plan and now have an HP nas, an HDHR, and Sage HD200 here and connected. I am extremely lost on what to do next. (partly from being too thick headed and partly from trying to learn too many new things at once)
I have everything working at least to some extent.
1) The WHS is visible from both my and my wife’s computers and they are backed up to it.
2) The HDHR has scanned channels and will stream live tv to either of our desktops.
3) I installed Sage on my desktop but didn’t put in my license as I wanted to save that for whs install.
I have been trying to figure out how to install Sage onto the WHS and just don’t understand. Tried to install from my desktop and install onto WHS, (not an option that i can tell) tried copying it to the whs software folder and install, (but it seems to still want to install to my desktop)
What am I missing and is this my next logical step? I have hours of searching for instructions but everything assumes I know more than I do. 🙂
