There are four squares that form a single large square, each square tile has it’s own: smell, scenery, sound.
When you move from one square floor tile to the next the scenery, sound, smell changes.
There is four unique sets of sound, smell, scenery since there are four floor tiles.Within the floor tiles is a rumble feature that can steer you to go to a different tile if the entertainment requires that.
The picture uses Sharp’s “Dual View” technology, which displays a different screen image depending on viewing position.
The “Dual-View” LCD technology allows two different pieces of information to be displayed in the left and right viewing directions of the screen.
The display changes when the screen is viewed from the left and from the right.http://www.techjapan.com/Article1070.html
The size of the display would be a 180 degree curve display, so large the 4 floor tiles would fit within the arc the display formed.
The rectangle of the display would not be visable easily if standing on either of the two tiles nearest the middle of the display.Ideally the picture would be high resolution 3D with no glasses necessary.
The audio uses JVC “Near Speaker Surround” Technology.
The new technology applies JVC’s unique digital signal processing to sound reproduced with low volume from a single speaker enclosure placed close in front of a listener.
The listener enjoys impressive surround sound on par with a multi-channel speaker system without heavy noise leakage into the surrounding environment.
Reduce sound leakage up to 56% through low volume sound reproduction – Users enjoy surround sound reproduction from the speaker without worrying about sound leakage to the surrounding environment, even in the middle of night.http://corporate.jvc.eu/pdf/en/near-speaker.pdf
Smell-O-Vision , also known as Smell-O-Rama, was a system that released odors during the projection of a film, or issued a viewer with a card to scratch at indicated points,
so that the viewer could “smell” what was happening in the movie.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smell-O-Vision
The video picture changes with “Dual View”, once you step into a new tile.
Using “Near Speaker Surround”, the new audio becomes audible once you step into the new tile.
The use of Smell-O-Rama would work like the audio and video so the smell changes depending on which tile your standing on.The ability to co-ordinate a team using conference video streaming would be possible.
Where one person has access to various team members cameras on their equipment and seeing this can then relay intelligence to them through audio on what the other team member saw or their camera saw.
This would make team games like Socom or Call of Duty more fun.Sample picture of what I’m envisioning

The only problem with this is you would need to stand, or you could one only one set of sight, sound and smell and use the whole screen for a 3d movie while you sit down. Then when you want to play videogames or see some novel scenery like a hike or river raft etc then you could use the full potential of the system for them.
