Yep the day has come, today starts the last phase of the ATSC tuner mandate. All TVs, DVRs, etc. (whether SD or HD) manufactured from this point forward now must include an ATSC compatible tuner. I would expect to see more ‘end of life statements’ from other tuner vendors soon. You’ll notice that ATI, AverMedia, Hauppauge, and Vbox all released combo or hybrid ATSC/NTSC tuners last year or early this year for this very reason.
