Options for a multi-monitor notebook?

      My brother wants a notebook that will support at least 2 external monitors.  Ideally, he wants to support 3.

      I know about the Matrox TripleHead2Go that supports 3 monitors.  They are connected via VGA.

      There are also a few USB powered graphics adaptors.  I have never used one and I don’t know if the quality and performance is good.

      Then there is DisplayPort.  DisplayPort supports multi-monitor setups with a single cable but I can’t find any PC notebooks with it besides Macs.

      Any ideas on what the best solution is?
