OS drive question

So my HTPC currently has a 160 GB drive with 2 partitions – OS and Documents.  All the Sage recordings and movies are on 2 data drives.  I need more space for Documents.  The case only has spots for 3 – 3.5″ HDD (there is a spot for a 4th, but it’d get no air flow – right over the ODD) so I can either:

1. put in a larger 3.5″ HDD or

2. put in a 3.5″ for Documents, and put a 2.5″ HDD for the OS

Thoughts?
