Thoughts on showing as an attachment versus inline image?
November 18, 2010 at 5:05 am #29042jennyfurI’ve been crazy busy this week and haven’t really gotten to poke around the new site yet. I did want to echo the “new posts since last visit” link, that’s how I used the forums before as well.
Not sure why, but my sig is FREAKIN HUGE. I tried to clear formatting but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything. Guess I’ll just delete it and redo it.
November 18, 2010 at 12:24 pm #29043captain_videoDitto for me. I always checked the unread posts since my last visit and using the link at the top made it easy. On the plus side, not having the link forced me to look at areas of the site I rarely visited in the past. Now I’ve just got to find time to read through it all.
November 18, 2010 at 1:10 pm #29044skirge01There were some issues transferring over the signatures to the new site’s formatting. I redid mine about 10 times already and it’s still not quite right.

Should be fixed now. Please let me know if it happens again.
The posts since last visit will be back soon. But in a drop down menu
November 19, 2010 at 7:15 am #29047jennyfurI also miss the “mark all as read”. Since I rely so heavily on the “new posts since last visit” type of functionality, when there were a few threads I didn’t want to read I’d just clear them out so that my new posts since last visit would more accurately reflect what I actually intended to read next time I came back.

good point. will add that to the list
November 19, 2010 at 9:14 am #29050CrimMaybe it’s just me but I really liked the old background color, especially when compared to the new white background…
November 19, 2010 at 2:19 pm #29051skirge01I was a big proponent of the old color, as well. But, it is infinitely easier on the eyes with the black on white. However, both Mike and I agree that there’s a little too much white, which is why quoted text is now shaded and we’re looking at other areas to add some color. If you have ideas, please let us know. We’re all EYES! 😉
November 19, 2010 at 2:31 pm #29052mikinhoI’ll see if I can make an old school theme available only to original site members 🙂
November 19, 2010 at 2:48 pm #29053PAPutzbackThat would be awesome. I cannot seem to find anything.
Where is the list of latest posts. Clicking a link under recent activity takes me to the original post and then I have to do a lot of scrolling to find the end. Especially when the reviews is at the top of the comments instead of being separated.
My profile options are also halfway down the page.
November 19, 2010 at 2:49 pm #29054CrimI actually think there’s too much white; it hurts my eyes a bit.

It is being addressed
November 19, 2010 at 3:06 pm #29056PAPutzbackThe attached file shows what I am seeing. I am not using a widescreen monitor but I have about 3 inches of space being wasted on both sides. And I have to scroll down to get to my control panel. Can the page resize dynamically so the ads are right aligned in a frame and the posts left aligned and allowed to use the wasted space so the posts aren’t so compressed?
I’d also like to see an ads page so I could browse all the vendors and possibly remove ads from the right side all together. What would that cost me to have a profile with no ads?
