Hey folks,
I have been trying to find an answer to this question for a long time and no where seems to directly address what I am looking for. I hope this isn’t too much of a noob question, but if it is, it is from lack of ability (and equipment) to test it out myself.
I currently have a Vista Home Premium Media Center (32-bit), and will soon be upgrading it to Win 7 Home Premium (64-bit). My question actually centers around adding a Client HTPC to the mix. If I picked up a good Nettop that handles HD (example: Acer AspireRevo R3610), is this something I could use as a means of playing content on my main HTPC?
And the bigger question, can the client HTPC stream directly from the Tuner Card that is installed on the main HTPC? Basically, can it play live TV content through that tuner, or can it only play stuff that is already recorded and stored as a file?
Again, I think the answer to my first question is yes, but I’d like to confirm. The second question I have never been able to find any reference to no matter how hard I looked.
