I ordered a Samsung 1.5 TB hard drive around Thanksgiving, but I forgot that I only have 2 SATA ports on my motherboard.  One is being used by my current hard drive and 1 by my BD-ROM.  I bought a Syba SATA controller card to add an SATA port, and I plugged the Samsung hard drive into it.  I installed the driver for the card and rebooted it, but the hard drive does not show up in Windows.  When the PC is booting it shows that it finds SATA1 as the WD hard drive, SATA2 as the BD-ROM, and then it comes up as “1 Samsung….1397GB”.  So the computer is recognizing the drive as being there, but Windows is not showing it.  I took a look around the BIOS, but didn’t really see anything.  It doesn’t show up as a bootable device, but under Hard Drives it shows “IDE: Samsung…”.  I don’t care that it’s not bootable, but how do I get it to show up in Windows?
