Hey all, looking for recommendations for a TV tuner to go with my new Windows 7 Media center system. This is running on a Zaber ION Mini ITX board, so I can’t use a PCI or PCI express card: it has to be either a USB or Mini PCI model. Also, given the lack of power of the Atom processor, I would like to offload as much processing onto the card as possible, so one that can do MPEG compression itself would be preferable.
The sources I am capturing from are a standard def Satellite TV cable box and OTA DTV. I figure I’ll need two tuners to do both, unless anyone knows of a USB/Mini PCI one that has two tuners that can be used simultaneously.
Any recommendations out there?
